Jeffrey Tan is Group Deputy CEO of Luen Thai Group and a member of the Tianjin Municipal Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC). Since 2008, Jeffrey has been instrumental in the development of Skechers’ retail supply chain on the Mainland which seamlessly integrated design, R&D, CRQ, logistics and marketing functions. Leveraging on Luen Thai's supply chain capabilities, Jeffrey helped propel the launch and growth of Skechers' apparel business. Under his guidance, Luen Thai's Mainland retail business has continued to expand and brought in prestigious international brands such as LeSportsac into its stable. Today, Skechers stands as the third largest international sports brand in China with the retail business being a key engine for Luen Thai’s growth.
Jeffrey led many important initiatives in Luen Thai, including the Dongguan Innovation and Technology Campus and development of logistics centers in Taicang and Tianjin. The former has been transformed from a factory compound into a brand-based technology and fashion center with the total floor space expanded from 240,000 square meters to 500,000 square meters. Notably, Jeffrey spearheaded the planning and construction of the Taicang Skechers Asia-Pacific Logistics Center. Drawing on his supply chain expertise in apparel manufacturing, the logistic centre not only has enhanced the group's operational efficiency but also supply chain capabilities covering the whole of China.
Jeffrey is strongly committed to serving the community. He has been as a director of the Hong Kong General Chamber of Textiles since 2007 and a member of the Tianjin Municipal Committee of the CPPCC since 2018. Youth development, especially exchanges between Hong Kong and Tianjin, is close to his heart. In 2019, he organised and led a delegation of over 30 students from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University on a fruitful educational expedition to Beijing and Tianjin. Mrs Mak Tang Wai Man, Vivian joined Wai Yuen Tong Medicine Holdings Limited since 2016 and was appointed as an Executive Director in 2018. She is responsible for overseeing retail operation, sales channel management and developing marketing strategy development in both Hong Kong and Macau markets of Wai Yuen Tong (WYT). She is dedicated in reforming the century-old traditional business.
