Danny Chan
Chief Executive Officer, Top Link Industrial Co Ltd
Top Link Industrial Company Ltd (“Top Link”) is a leading original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and original design manufacturer (ODM) of power tools. As the Group’s Chief Executive Officer, Mr Danny Chan has driven Top Link’s rapid growth, solidifying its leading position in the power tool industry. His main contributions to the Company and the industry are outlined in different sectors.
Mr Chan has taken an active role in forging close cooperation with the Group’s supply chain partners, cultivating a robust industrial ecosystem. By jointly optimising production workflows and quality control systems, he has enabled the Group’s supply chain partners to enhance efficiency and reduce costs, which in turn has significantly strengthened the Group’s price competitiveness and driven win-win growth and scale expansion for all partners in the ecosystem. His visionary strategic planning has also helped the Group navigate market volatility. For example, he led the Group to establish its first overseas production base in Thailand in 2018 and brought in other supply chain partners to set up factories in the country. This made Top Link the earliest adopter of geographically diversified production among its peers, effectively mitigating geopolitical risks for the Group. In addition, his proactive deployment enabled the Group to maintain normal operations during the global chip shortage in 2021.
Mr Chan has spearheaded a product diversification strategy that has expanded sub-categories within the Group’s existing product lines and added six new product categories, creating a diversified product portfolio that meets the needs for comfort, safety, and cleanliness at worksites. He has expanded the R&D team from just 10 people in 2016 to approximately 50 people today. Additionally, he has introduced computer simulation technology, automated assembly and AI testing equipment, and other specialized software, which have significantly improved the efficiency of the Group’s R&D and manufacturing. As a result of these initiatives, the number of new products developed by the Group each year has increased from 2-3 in 2016 to 12-15 currently, while annual product output has reached 5 million units and is expected to achieve stable double-digit growth in the future. At the same time, the Group’s workforce has expanded from around 200 to more than 1,500 employees. Mr Chan has also fostered successful collaborations with the Group’s clients to co-develop a range of differentiated and innovative products that have proven popular in the market and have become a key driver of the Group’s profit growth.
Mr Chan has always been committed to the strategy of developing niche product markets to avoid homogeneous competition and has achieved breakthroughs in core competencies such as R&D, production, and quality control. Under his leadership, the Group’s customer base has grown from just 3 major clients to 7 top-tier international brands, which collectively account for more than 80% of the power tool market share, fully demonstrating Top Link’s core position in the industry. Mr Chan has also prioritised the expansion of the European market over the past three years to optimise the geographic mix of the Group’s customers. As a result, the revenue ratio between US and European clients has shifted from 80%:20% in 2022 to 60%:40% today, enhancing the Group’s resilience amid the US-China trade tensions. Despite the macroeconomic challenges over the past few years, Mr Chan has successfully strengthened Top Link’s competitive edges and agility, and expanded its business footprint, driving consistent revenue and profit growth.
With his exceptional forward-looking vision, Mr Chan has laid out a clear blueprint for the Group’s global development, driving market, customer, and product diversification. His strategic plan for the next two years aims to increase the revenue contribution from European markets to achieve a more balanced split between Europe and North America. He will also lead the Group’s expansion into markets including South America and Asia to establish a more balanced global footprint. In addition, he will actively pursue partnerships with leading local brands in various regions and further expand the Group’s product portfolio by increasing R&D investment and optimizing production processes.
Mr Chan is committed to nurturing the next generation of talent and driving innovation in the industry. As Vice Chairman of FHKI Group 4 (Hong Kong Electrical Product Council) and Vice President of the Hong Kong Electrical Appliances Industries Association, he actively participates in mentorship programmes to inspire young professionals in their technical growth and career progression. Kevin Leung
Director, Program Contractors Ltd
Graduating with an MSc in Business Information Technology from the University of Manchester (UK) and publishing a white paper on Mobile Commerce as his thesis, Kevin entered his career with a strong foundation in innovation and a clear passion for leveraging technology to drive business growth. Joining Program Contractors Limited (PCL) in 2007, Kevin's forward-thinking mindset and ability to anticipate trends helped position him to inject fresh energy and new strategies into his family business.
Kevin's journey at PCL began with a two-year Management Trainee programme, where he immersed himself in the fundamentals of the construction business and factory operations. This period of hands-on learning laid the groundwork for his innovative vision. In 2009, Kevin founded the Business Development Department, marking the first step in his mission to transform PCL from a local construction company into a globally recognised player. With a keen understanding of market needs and emerging trends, Kevin initiated a series of transformative strategies: he modernised the company's website, implemented SEO practices, redesigned marketing materials, established an internal CRM system, set up overseas sales offices and actively participated in international trade shows and exhibitions. These efforts enhanced PCI/s brand visibility and also expanded its business model from focusing solely on local construction projects to becoming an OEM manufacturer serving international markets.
Kevin's innovative approach quickly bore fruit. Within five years, PCL's international business grew by 42%z generating over HKD 500 million in turnover and significantly contributing to the group's annua] revenue. His ability to identify new opportunities and adapt to industry trends was instrumental in driving this remarkable growth.
With extensive experience in fabricating street furniture, facades, and metal art for iconic architectural projects worldwide, Kevin recognised an opportunity to further evolve PCL's business. In 2013, he founded the company's own brand, “CityPlus," with a focus on Hong Kong-designed urban furniture and biking solutions. This marked a strategic shift from OEM to ODM, enabling PCL to add creative and innovative value to its offerings. Collaborating with renowned institutions like the Hong Kong Design Institute and PolyU Design School, Kevin transformed CityPlus into a platform for nurturing local talent. By involving fresh graduates and young designers in public space projects, he provided opportunities for them to contribute to real-world designs while gaining exposure to industry standards.
Kevin's belief in the creativity and potential of Hong Kong's youth has driven him to actively support local students in participating in prestigious international design competitions, such as the Red Dot Design Awards. By championing these young talents, Kevin has broadened their horizons, built their confidence, and helped them gain recognition on the global stage. Through CityPlus, Kevin's efforts have directly contributed to the internationalisation of Hong Kong's creative industry. To date, CityPlus has collaborated with local designers to redesign over 10 parks and public spaces in Hong Kong, installed several metal art pieces in museums, and provided bike parking facilities for over 40 residential estates and public transport hubs. While these projects showcase innovative design, they also promote a greener lifestyle and sustainable urban development.
In recent years, Kevin has expanded his leadership role into PCL/s local construction business, contributing to major infrastructure projects such as 11 Skies, the Hong Kong International Airport Terminal 2 Expansion, and the Central Kowloon Route. Kevin's ability to anticipate and embrace industr trends has made him a strong advocate for innovation in construction. Under his leadership, PCL became one of the first companies in the region to adopt Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DfMA) techniques in project management. This forward-thinking approach has streamlined construction processes, improved efficiency, reduced material waste, and, most importantly^ enhanced safety by significantly reducing industrial accidents.
One of Kevin's most notable contributions to the construction sector was his leadership in implementing Modular Integrated Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MiMEP) technology in Hong Kong's first large-scale private construction project, LEE GARDEN EIGHT. This groundbreaking initiative greatly improved installation efficiency, while also setting new safety standards for construction sites. Kevin's ability to champion these innovative practices has demonstrated the viability of industrialised construction and inspired the broader industry to adopt safer, more efficient solutions.
Kevin's career is defined by his ability to identify emerging trends, pioneer innovative practices, and drive meaningful changes. His commitment to nurturing local talent, embracing technological advancements, and expanding the boundaries of what his company can achieve has positioned him as a visionary leader in the industry. Through his and his team's efforts, Kevin has further elevated PCL's standing in the global market and contributed to the modernisation and internationalisation of Hong Kong's industrial sectors.

Jason Man
Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer, Nameson Holdings Ltd
Mr Jason Man Yu-hin has served as the CEO of Nameson Holdings Limited ("Nameson") since 2021. With his innovative mindset and sharp vision, he has led Nameson in addressing the significant challenges faced by the manufacturing industry in recent years, including supply chain disruptions following the pandemic, the need for sustainable practices, and advancements in production technology. His leadership has not only enhanced Nameson's production efficiency but also contributed to the development of the manufacturing sector in Hong Kong and mainland China.
Under Jason's leadership, Nameson has seen notable improvements in productivity and operational efficiency. By integrating advanced manufacturing technologies, he has improved the application of automation procedures in production, thereby raising productivity and efficiency. He has streamlined operational processes, enhancing product quality and reducing production costs. As demand for production in Vietnam continued to grow, he assisted Nameson's key suppliers in establishing bases near Nameson's production plants, which has created a strategic moat for Nameson, effectively shortening turnaround times for customer service and bolstering competitiveness.
Demonstrating his keen foresight, Jason strategically led the expansion of production capacity in a fourth-tier county in Central Vietnam. This initiative partly contributed to the 55% increase in production capacity in Vietnam over the past two years, achieving record-high profitability; but also created employment opportunities in the region, thus promoting local economic development. To ensure Nameson's competitiveness and sustainability, he has actively driven the diversification of the company's operations in Vietnam, expanding into upstream cashmere yarn and fabric businesses, which have become new growth drivers for the company.
Jason places a strong emphasis on fostering a culture of innovation within the organisation. He encourages his team to push boundaries and propose creative solutions. Under his guidance, Nameson has launched a series of new products to meet the diverse needs of customers. For example, the application of technology to traditional knitting methods has significantly reduced manual linking procedures, resulting in invention patents granted in China, Japan and the United States of America. His team has also adapted technology originally intended for knitted shoe uppers to create distinctive sweater styles, blending trendiness and functionality while optimizing internal resource utilisation. Recent developments include innovations in other styles to save washing time in production processes and changes to knitting procedures, all of which have successfully attracted new high-quality global customers and elevated Nameson's positioning in a competitive market.
To promote sustainable practices within the industry Jason has actively advocated for the adoption of environmentally friendly technologies in the supply chain. This includes implementing solar panel systems, using wood pellets to reduce carbon footprints, and promoting the use of traceable and sustainable materials. He is significantly involved in various industry associations, such as the Hong Kong Wollen & Synthetic Knitting Manufacturers7 Association, the Hong Kong General Chamber of Textiles, and the Textile Council of Hong Kong, among others. Additionally, he has hosted numerous plant tours in Vietnam for the Federation of Hong Kong Industries. His notable achievement includes inaugurating as the Founding Vice-Chairman of FHKI ASEAN Council (Formerly known as ASEAN Chapter) in 2023, growing its membership from six to over a hundred members. This initiative aims to foster collaboration and communication across the industry.
Looking ahead, Jason will continue to leverage his innovative mindset and keen vision to reshape the manufacturing industry.
